a canon, a tightrope, a trust fall is a performance work of fanfiction. In the rumble of Westbeth’s courtyard and in the shadow of its Post-Modern landmark, we witness time folding unto itself and multiplying. Springing from questions of mastery, experimentation, ownership, and play, the performers enact their versions of this dance history.

For the good kid that grew to witness the rewards of rule-breaking.

For the living dancer waiting for a ghost’s good death.

For the desire to move that you can’t quite place. 

For the skeptic hungry for a new altar.
